In POP World, the basic attributes of players, their mech body, weapon and equipment are Mentality, Stamina and Handling. You can find your mech, weapon, armor, controller, and other relevant information in Attribute Interface. This picture shows it. Mentality focuses on the character’s attention and impacts MP recovery speed and Hit Rating. Stamina focuses on the character’s strength and impacts MaxMP, gives add-on to attack power. Handling focuses on the character’s operation ability and impacts on Dodge Rating and Critical Strike. Each mech/weapon/equipment requires a specific number of MTL/STA/HDL. When you have one level up, you will gain one point in each field of MTL/STA/HDL and two Potential Points for you to distribute. For better performance, we suggest you to invest Potential Points in one of the three fields so that you can master it well. Please notice that once you’ve distributed the potential points, it’s set and cannot be reset without special reset items. Specific mech body requires you to have certain level, MTL, STA and HDL. There are three types of mech, namely Assault Mech, Commander Mech and Raider Mech. Assault Mech requires higher Stamina. Commander demands higher Handling and Raider needs higher Mentality. After being equipped with certain mech, you will have certain number of HP. Relatively speaking, Assault has the biggest HP, so it is usually Assault that tanks in battle and it has many AoE attacks. Raider has high DPS and hit rating and is good for heavy damage, however, it has the lowest HP. Commander is good for PvP because of its various buff and debuff skills. When your character reaches lvl 10, you can get a new mech in NPC <New Soldier Officer> Glocker’s quest ‘New Mech Body’. You need to go to <Mech Manager> Marianne to choose the mech as you wish. Here at lvl 10, there are Hill Explorer, Cliff Explorer and Peak Explorer respectively for Assault, Raider and Commander Mech. They are shown in blue, white and green respectively in outside appearance to differ from each other. A close look at the HP number of these mechs will demonstrate what I have concluded in the last paragraph. Please keep in mind that once you select your mech type, your potential points will focus on that required field of MTL/ STA / HDL. It’s hard to change mech type later unless you reset MTL, STA and HDL points with special items purchased in Mall. As you level up and have more potential points to distribute into MTL, STA and HDL, you can equip yourself with a better mech. If you want to strengthen your mech, you can visit NPC <Enhancement Technician> for compose and enhancement. More details are shown in Compose and Enhancement. But always bear in mind that you must replace your mech in NPC <Mech Replacement>. As to controllers that offer your mech the attribute bonuses, they include Processor, Sensor, Power Switcher and Engine. Basically, Processor determines Hit Rating, Sensor determines Critical Rating, Power Switcher determines MaxES and Engine determines Dodge Rating. Each controller has its level demand and mech demand. Notice that controllers shall go with your mech type accordingly. As to armors that offer your mech protection, they are divided into head, chest, hand and leg armor for protection in respective parts. Each armor has a demand in the character’s level. As for protection field, armors have three basic kinds--Bullet, Laser and EM. It’s worth mentioning that the armor type can go beyond your mech type. It’s up to you to choose Bullet, Laser or EM resistance armor. It’s better you have all kinds of resistance armors equipped. You can have bonuses in attributes if you enhance the controllers and armors. Bonuses include MaxHP, MaxMP, Critical Strike Point, DPS etc. More details are shown in Enhancement. For weapon, all three attributes of Mentality, Stamina and Handling should also be taken into account when distributing your potential points to certain field. Weapons have three basic kinds--Bullet, Laser and EM, which respectively have demands in Stamina, Mentality and Handling. So have fun in growing with you mech! |
