Armors and controllers are also important for you to get adequate defense and power. You shall open the Item Bin and drag armors and controllers to correspondent spaces in Attribute Interface to equip them. An easier way is to right click on the armors and controllers for equipment. Please notice that you can only equip armors and controllers in safe places. Here is a mech completely equipped with armors and controllers.

Armors

Armors determine how much resistance you will have to attacks from monsters and other players. Armors are divided into four types to provide respective protection in Head, Chest, Hand and Leg. Each armor has a resistance of Bullet/Laser/EM which effects how much damage your equipment durability will take, instead of the resistance of damage itself.

You can purchase armors at NPC <Armor Merchant> or get some from drops, you can also get some armors from relevant quests. Each type of armor has 9 grades from 1 to 9, requiring players to reach 8, 14, 20, 26, 32, 38, 44, 50, 56 for equipment. Each levelup means an increase of 6 level in your characters. Notice that Bullet/Laser/EM resistance is shown respectively in Red/Yellow/Blue as to armor’s icon, just the same as attack type. Here is an example of grade 3 armors.

The armors you purchase from NPC are all white without bonus. After Compose and Enhancement, you can get some bonus. Notice that the armor's name is shown in its quality's color. Here white ammo is shown in white title and green one in green title. The quality of armor has a range of White, Green, Blue, Purple and Orange from normal to honorable.

Controllers

Controllers are Processor, Sensor, Power Switcher and Engine which provide players with Hit Rating, Critical Rating, MaxES and Dodge Rating respectively. You can get them at NPC <Controller Merchant> or from drops, you can also get some controllers from relevant quests. Apart from these basic attributes, you can get random bonus of MaxHP, HP Recovery Speed, etc after Compose.

Controllers have three types of Assault, Raider and Commander. So you need to equip your mech body with the controllers that match exactly. There is level requirement for character to equip successfully as well. From basic to high level controllers, players need to reach level 8, 16, 24,32, 40, 48, 56. One level up in controller calls for 8 levels up in character.

Even at the same level, controllers for different Mech Type have different attributes, which shows the difference between mech bodies quite well. Here is the comparison of level 32 Assault, Raider and Commander controllers. In Comparison comlumn, +++ means the biggest at the same level, ++ the moderate, + the least.

As you can see from the table above, when you reach level 24, you will have additional skills which are shown in the 8 bottom slots in your wisdom skill tree. The skills can be dragged to Hotkey Bar and then used by clicking them in Bar or pressing F1 to F8 accordingly. Below are the controller skills of a Raider.

Both armors and controllers are important and can be improved through Compose and Enhancement. So why not have fun in battling with combat-effective gear?
