Trade system offers you a means to buy and sell items at real time without time delay. The buyer and seller need to be at the same spot to finish trade face to face. Notice that bound items are not tradable.

How to trade with others?

To trade with others, you need to right click the player's avatar and choose Trade Invitation. Here player Lina like to trade with player Fire.

Then Fire will see an orange box hinting him that I want to trade with him. Player Fire can click Confirm to agree on trade. Here he agrees to trade and chooses Confirm.

If Fire doesn’t reply to Lina’s trade invitation in 15 seconds or chooses Cancel in the orange box, then the trade is cancelled. Player Lina, the one who sends trade invitation, can see a red hint in the center of main interface that will disappear soon.

Now that Fire accepts Lina’s trade invitation, both players can see a trade box like this. The player’s name that you are trading with is shown at the top. Below are two parts. The left one which has your name is for you to offer items and ECs. You can operate this part. The right one is your counterpart’s offer information and you can’t operate this part. You can open Item Bin and drag the items you want to trade into the item blanks in your part. An easier way is just to right click the items you want to trade in Item Bin and they will go to item blanks as well. You can input the amount of EC you want to offer in EC blank. Here player Lina offers player Fire one [Wearing Electronic Component] and 10 EC and click Ready.

On the other side, player Fire sees the items and ECs Lina offers and makes his offer--a [Primary Tiny-Molecule Alloy] and 23 EC. Since the offered items and ECs are OK, he clicks Ready and Trade. Notice that the options in gray are not available or have been chosen. That’s why in player Fire’s trade box, Ready and Trade options are gray now. Once you choose Ready, you cannot change the offer item or EC any more. If you want to give someone an item for free, you just let him/her put the EC number in his/her trade box a 0. That will do the job.

Since both Lina and Fire are Ready, they can click Trade to finish the trade. This is what they see on their trade box respectively. Notice that Trade option is only available when both players click Ready. Here because Fire has clicked Trade, the Trade option is gray in his trade box. Player Lina chooses Trade and the trade is done therefore.

Both players can read a red hint in the center of the main interface. This hint will disappear soon.

Also they will get trade information in Chat Box. This is what player Fire sees in her Chat Box.

In any moment before the trade is completed, the players in trade can choose to Cancel the trade if they think the trade is unfair or want to change the offer. You just need to click Cancel and the trade is cancelled, followed by a red hint as well in the center of main interface. Here player Lina cancels the trade.

What shall I pay attention to in trade?

Tip 1:
You shall always keep an eye on the offered item and EC information in trade box. Whenever you think there is a problem, you shall click Cancel to cancel the trade.

Tip 2:
Check the item bin blanks before trade. All unbound items and ammos can be traded. But both players shall have enough blanks in their item bin or ammo bin to complete the trade successfully. The blank number of item bin/ammo bin shall be no less than the item/ammo number you will get from the other player. For example, here player Lina’s item bin is full as shown below.

When she attempts to give one item to player Fire and get two items from him (which basically needs at least one blank in her item bin), the trade fails, because player Lina doesn’t have enough blanks in her item bin.

Player Lina gets a message informing her of the trade failure.

Tip 3:
Keep in mind that bound items are not tradable. If you attempt to drag a bound item to trade box, you will get a red hint. For example, here [Plain Accuracy Strike Crystal] is a bound item and I get a hint when trying to trade it.

Tip 4:
If you want to divide a few items out of one stack of multiple items, here is a tip. Open the Item Bin and click the item that you want to divide while pressing Shift. Then a menu will pop up asking you the amount you want to get from the stack. Input a number smaller than the total amount of this item and then Confirm, then you just need to put that divided part into another blank in your Item Bin. Here I choose to get 1 [Primary Tiny-Molecule Alloy] out of a stack of 7. Notice that you shall have at least one blank to put the divided item in to finish this process.

Now I have 1 separate [Primary Tiny-Molecule Alloy] and 6 [Primary Tiny-Molecule Alloy] in one stack.

Now let’s trade for fantastic items and gain ECs in the spirit of fairness, honesty and justice!
