Plugin System

Apart from Compose and Enhancement, there is another way to strengthen your mech by adding extra attributes, such as: EM Resistance, Hit Rating, CS, Damage Absorb,etc; this useful way is called "Plugin". This function is only available to your mech and weapon.

How to plug in?

Plugin can be summarized to two major parts: 1. To activate expansion slot  2. To insert plugin item to the activated slot to create extra attribute. Then let's move to the details:

The first step is to activate the expansion slot; there are 2 sets of Expansion Slot with 5 slots respectively of each mech or weapon, one for Crystal and the other for Chip; all slots are inactivated from the start. To activate the slot (also called portiforium), Expansion Slot Opening Device is the tool you need. According to the kinds of Expansion Slot, there are also two corresponding kinds of Opening Device: one for Crystal and the other for Chip.

In addition, one slot represents one rate, which means corresponding Opening Device must be matched with its rate. At present, the 5 rates of the Opening Device are: Green, Blue, Purple, Orange and Golden; and the rate determines the consequence of expansion. The following are Crystal & Chip Expansion Device:

Now let's take one mech without plugin for instance:

Move your cursor to its icon, you will see one sentence at the bottom of pop-up interface: Shift + left-click to open Expansion interface. Follow it (click on the mech icon) to open the plugin interface. Moreover, item can be plugged in when unequipped.

With the interface opened, drag the icon of Expansion Slot Opening Device to the first slot to activate it. After activation, the former slot will be blank for you to insert Crystal or Chip. Then what you need do is to insert the chip or crystal to the blank slot. There are 2 kinds of Crystal and Chip in terms of quality: Plain and Extreme.

Here we need one Crystal, so let's take a Plain EM Resistance Crystal for example:

Drag one Crystal or Chip to the blank to, then an extra "EM Resistance" attribute will be available!

Hint: Expansion Device, Crystal and Chip can be got from killing and bought from in-game Mall.
