Maintenance offers you a way to maintain your mech, weapon and equipment to their ideal performance. After maintenance, durability of equipments will be recovered fully or to some extent. Now let's have a look at how maintenance works at durability.

How does maintenance work on durability?

Every mech, weapon and equipment has a number of durability. Durability is the equipment's ability to perform its function under force. For example, mech's durability defines the ability to shield against attack. Weapon's durability defines the ability to fire accurately, etc. Without adequate durability, equipments can't function well. If durability is decreased to 0, that equipment can't function at all. Since durability is that important, we should keep an eye on it. Maintenance offers us a way to fix durability to the upmost high number, that's why it's so crucial.

Here this item has full durability of 62/62. That is the Max Durability of this item.

But as you use items in battles, the number of durability will decrease for damage caused by fierce attack. If the damage is moderate, the number is shown in green.

Here this mech is not full in durability number. This affects a bit of its performance. After maintenance, this number will return to its full of 20. This mech still has a Max Durability of 20 after maintenance. Notice that the higher the Durability, the higher the Selling Price.

Before:    After:

However, if at least one of your items has a durability below 50%, you will see a small orange mech icon at the right side of the interface like this and a hint warning you of the durability loss .

If you ignore the durability loss, don't maintain it timely and continue its wear and tear, when one or your items has a durability below 30%, you will see a small red mech icon and a hint as well.

At the same time, your item's durability is shown in yellow and has very poor performance.

The worst condition is when your item has lost all durability, when the durability reaches 0, it is shown in red for your caution.

Now I have a mech with durability 0, this mech can't function at all.

After maintenance, the Current Max Durability of this item is only 10.

If your item's Current Max Durability is 0, it cannot be fixed any more. By that time, you have to buy another one to replace it.

How can I complete maintenance?

You shall go to Maintenance Technician to load or complete your maintenance. He looks like an octopus
with a floating icon of  on top of it.

Talk to him and then there is a menu popping up.

You can either select Load Maintenance or Complete Maintenance. To Load Maintenance, all the items that you are equipped with will be repaired; however, that doesn't include those ones in your Item Bin. To Complete Maintenance, all your items will be repaired, including those ones in Item Bin.

Here this mech's durability is recovered to the green Current Maximum Durability 20 after timely maintenance.

When equipment continues to suffer wear and tear and has durability below 30%, you will see the small red mech icon and the equipment's durability is shown in yellow as well. Even if you complete maintenance when small red mech icon appears, the Maximum Durability of the equipment is damaged, not the original 20. At the same time, durability is shown in orange to notify you the damaged Maximum Durability.

Maintenance will cost you certain amount of EC according to your equipment level and durability loss. The earlier the maintenance is done to the equipment that has durability loss, the more chances that you will get Maximum Durability recovered to full and the less EC you will need to pay for maintenance cost. The EC you spend on maintenance will be shown in Chat Box after completion.

To maintain the performance of equipment to its fullest extent, we strongly recommend you to complete maintenance at times, especially after a fierce battle. Wear and tear may decrease the durability of items and affect overall performance.

So every operator, please pay attention to your equipment durability and complete maintenance from time to time!
