With the help of Mail system, you can exchange message, items or even EC with others without being online with them at the same time. Mails have a storage period in inbox. Ordinary mails without attachment can be kept for 7 days. Mails with attachments can be kept for 30 days.

How to send a mail?

First, find a Message Administrator who looks just like a mailbox.

Then, talk to him and enter mail management.

You can choose to write or check mail, which equals the function of outbox and inbox.



Writing a mail requires you to input receiver's name and subject, you need to pay postage of 10 EC for each mail. Now sender xxxx sends a mail to receiver Lina.



After sending succeeds, there is a message shown in the Chat Box.

How to receive a mail?

When you have a new mail, you will see an icon of a small envelope on the upper right side of the main interface and a sentence for your notice in the Chat Box as well.

Here receiver Lina needs to go to Message Administrator and check the mail. She can either choose the mail and click Check Mail or just double-click on the mail to open it.

After reading the mail from sender xxxx, receiver Lina can choose to Reply or Delete the mail. Or she can just cancel the operation.

Receiver Lina chooses to delete the mail, there is a hint popping up. After confirmation, the mail is deleted from the mailbox.

How to send attachments?
Players can also send attachments in mail, including EC or item.
To send others some amount of EC, tick EC Transfer when writing a mail, and then input the amount of EC you want to send.
Here sender Lina sends 1000 EC to receiver xxxx.



After clicking send, the mail with EC Transfer is sent out successfully with a message shown in Chat Box. Notice that the total amount is Money plus Postage, which is 1000 +10= 1010 EC.

When receiver xxxx click on the mail, there is a small message telling him the mail include 1000 EC.

He shall click Receive in the mail window that pops up after double clicking the mail.

There is also a message in Chat Box about the EC he got.

To send item to others, sender shall first open Space Bin interface. Then write a new mail as usual, drag the item from Space Bin to the left blank and tick EC Transfer. Here sender Lina chooses to send a mail with Hill Explorer Sensor attached to receiver xxxx.

Receiver Lina can just right-click the attachment in the mail to get it. If she doesn't want this item, she can choose to return the mail to the sender xxxx.

You can even choose Item needs Payment when sending a mail with attachment. To choose this option, the receiver needs to pay some EC to get the attachment. The sender shall input a number in the right blank beside Money. Here sender xxxx set the number as 10, which means receiver Lina needs to pay 10 EC for this item. After click Send, the item Hill Explorer Sensor is sent to receiver Lina.

Receiver Lina need to pay 10 EC for this item. To obtain this item, receiver Lina shall right click on the item first.

Then click Confirm to the small window that pops up to confirm EC payment.

After confirm the payment, there is a message shown in Chat Box.

This function of sending item to others is another way to complete trade. Then traders can complete trade without being online at the same time.
Notice that different mail has different storage period. Mails with icon of  means the attachment of EC or item included, so the storage period for this type is 30 days. Mails with icon of  are just ordinary type mails without attachment, these mails just have a storage period of 7 days. After receiver obtains the item or EC in the mail, the mail will change into an ordinary one and still remain in the inbox for another 7 days.
